Nothing beats the grace and versatility of Indian saree. You can name many reasons behind this; be it the various types of fabrics, colours, designs but the way of wearing a saree is one of the most primary reasons of its being sexy among all.
Let’s solve this million dollar question without wasting a moment in this ‘quick steps of wearing saree’ blog: Necessary Things: 1. Non-Pleated Petticoat 2. Designer Blouse 3. Plain Saree Step – 1 Take the starting corner of the plain side of the sarees and tuck it in your petticoat tightly near your naval area. Start the wrapping from the left side with the pallu and complete it by reaching the point from where you have had started. Step – 2 Bring the complete saree cloth to the front and start the pleating portion which is pretty exciting. Begin the pleats by holding the end of one side with the help of your thumb and making pleats with the rest. Step – 3 Continue to make 5-8 pleats with a gap of 4-5 inches. Hold the pleats in a proper form and check if they are correct in a parallel manner or not. Secure them with a pin and tuck them in the waistline of the petticoat. Step – 4 Time has come to create the pallu. If you want pleated pallu, do it in the same manner as you have made the front pleats and drag it backwards. Secure the same by pinning it on the shoulder blouse portion. You can also opt to let it flow by simply pinning the right side of the hemline onto the shoulder portion of the blouse. Step – 5 Don’t make the pallu flow too long either too short. This saree draping style is the basic one and mostly worn by all Indian women in casual occasions.
